The scientists of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural university here will develop an organic fertiliser from sugarcane distillery fly ash and spent wash with help from the USA’s International Fertiliser Development Centre (IFDC) . This product will be rich in phosphorus and potassium.
Both sides signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the presence of vice-chancellor B R Kamboj, research director S K Sehrawat, and human resource director M S Sidhpuria from the HAU.
Kamboj said the HAU was collaborating with reputed global agencies to develop new technologies for The latest fertiliser technology to be developed, he said,will be the best example of turning waste to wealth.
