Central govt. to infuse Rs 10,000 cr to produce ethanol
The Central government will infuse Rs 10,000 crore for production of 100 crore litres of ethanol across the country while rice will be lifted from the Food Corporation of India, Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Monday.
All these will indirectly generate maximum benefit to farmers of Chhattisgarh, he said while virtually addressing the inaugural session of the Working Committee of the Chhattisgarh BJP.
The new agriculture laws brought by the Union government will bring revolutionary changes in the lives of farmers, he said. It will help double their income, said Pradhan.
He added that with more investment in the agriculture sector in Chhattisgarh, the sole beneficiaries will be the farmers.
